5 minute documentary for Florida Film Festival and Blog

All my readers, on top of the tv-pilot that is still in development, I'm going to start on a research project, as a reference librarian to film on a topic of natural disasters.

I have my laptop now, and I have my camera. I have a camera man. I have a location to shoot. I will compose interviews of individuals, and I have a list of questions to randomly ask people at this location. I have the document for them to sign, to get permission to put them in the picture, and I will be posting ads around the location for people to contact me so the interviews are controlled.

I will start the filming in October, and for a full month I'll set aside two hours a week for interviews. each interview will last 15 minutes long. I'm trying to compose a 5 minute documentary for the Florida Film Festival in 2010.

I'll be posting samples of the information and interviews of the documentary on this site, and a trailer will be composed, and pictures will be taken of each individual that gets interviewed. And if they choose not to be interviewed on camera, I'll take down their information, to post a diagram of statistics of the groups of people who get interviewed.

I plan on using my skills as a Librarian, to compose a genuine documentary, this isn't going to be pretty.

Looking for Company Partners

Hey! I'm looking for Investors for this TV Pilot. I'm looking for contributions of 50,000 each, and I'm also looking for individuals willing to break into the business. We will film on hand held HD Cameras, use a 15,000 Apple Computer for editting (which we will need to purchase) with Final Cut Pro 2, and with special fx software. I have a lawyer in mind for this pilot, or if someone wants to sign on for credit for their law firm. The special effect scenes will be taken out, and we are only going to show after shots.

I want to distribute this series onto ITUNES, and publish the series on DVD and put it on LULU Distrusting company as a DVD file.. This will be the first in a series.

I'm going for a budget of 150,000. I need a producer and line producer to help come up with a budget, and keep to budget in check. I'm going to shoot in Ocala, Florida. I don't know when yet, the time is not certain.

If you are a FSU film student, Full Sail Student, or Film Student in general, I can't guarentee union rates, but I will pay for meals, gas, hotels, and insurance costs.

If your a production company and want to be in, you can but no one takes me seriously in the business, so I'm going to make my own movies and series.
